Come Join Us for a Homemade Pancake Breakfast!

Saturday, December 6, 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.

Tickets for the breakfast must be purchased in advance: $7 per adult, $6 per child, children under 1 free.

Santa Claus will be arriving at 9:00!

Donate Items for Our Military in Afghanistan

care_package350_002Rep. Tom Murt will be collecting supplies for our military in Afghanistan from now through December 1st.

Items collected would be unscented toiletries, personal items, candy,  snacks, holiday decorations, drink mix, socks, flipflops, individually wrapped toilet paper and towels, etc. For more detailed list call the district office 215-674-8802.


St. David Parish Christmas Craft Fair

COME ONE, COME ALL! Our Christmas Craft Fair is just around the corner.

It is being held in Monsignor Baum Auditorium (Queen of Angels School) and there will be many crafters, food, and fun for the whole family.

In addition, we are selling chances for a variety of prizes. The chance drawing will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 Chance tickets will be sold during the Craft Fair.  Contact Jenny Mars for information at

Good News You Can Use

Mon Nov 24: St. David Fall Blood Drive
Our Fall Blood Drive is on Monday, November 24!  Support our parish and the community during the holiday season when the blood supply typically drops to critically low levels. You are generally eligible to donate if you are 17 years of age or older (16 years of age if accompanied with a parent), weigh at least 110 pounds and your last donation was before September 29th. To make an appointment, go to, select “Find a blood drive near you”, enter sponsor code St. David and select your preferred appointment time; or contact Joanne Waltrich (; 215 658-0418) directly. Thank you!

Black Friday Leaf Raking – November 28th
Anyone in need of Leaf Raking? Some of our youth have offered to help those parishioners who need help raking their leaves. November is National Adoption Month!
November is National Adoption Month!  Please take a few moments to remember in your prayers those whose lives have been touched by adoption in some way, including biological parents who are facing, or have faced in the past, the difficult decision of making an adoption plan for their child. Please also give thanks for the blessings the Lord has bestowed on those parents and children who have been brought together through adoption, creating their “forever” families.

Official Confirmation: Pope Francis will Attend World Meeting in Philadelphia
We are excited to share that we received official confirmation that the Holy Father will be joining us in Philadelphia in September 2015 for the World Meeting of Families. We look forward to welcoming Pope Francis not only to Philadelphia for the first time, but to the U.S! We hope to see you in Philadelphia for this joyous event! Upcoming Kairos Retreats

We are excited to announce the 2nd and 3rd Regional Kairos retreats for public school and homeschooled high school juniors and seniors that will take place December 26-29, 2014 and February 12-15, 2015.kairos

Kairos is a 4 day, 3 night retreat helping high school aged kids to grow deeper in their faith. The price for this retreat is usually $300 but with the Philadelphia Education Fund grant, we are able to offer is for $60.
